This position is for our New Orchard Lodge home located in Ottawa, ON.

What you’ll be doing:

• Presents and promotes a positive image of business office and the facility to residents, family, guests, outside services and community.
• Answers Emails, telephone, transfer and place outgoing calls.
• Mailing request and distribution.
• Performs clerical work - Resident Admission, Discharge/deceased, Acceptance/rejection, leave of absence tracking, assist with Rate Reduction application, Schedule IDTC and maintain records and any other office duties.
• Perform Scheduling coordinator duties as needed.
• Census, statement Day checklist mid-month and Month end.
• Assist family with resident Trust account setup, withdrawal, balance and month end Trust reconciliation and any donations.
• Processing claims for HIN and Lab reports Quarterly.
• Handle payments from families, distribute pay statements, following up on rejections with POA.
• Maintain the inventory of office supplies, forms and equipment.
• Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control.

What you bring:

• Business Administration Diploma preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge in Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable. What you’ll get:
