Job Description:

The role 
As the Commercial Lead Belgium, you are the driving force behind the commercial growth, client leadership, and strategic direction of our Belgian organization (25+ team members). You combine an entrepreneurial mindset with strong media expertise and will help elevate our Brussels operation to the next level.

You approach this role as though you are running your own small agency within the group: building, innovating, taking ownership, and identifying growth opportunities. You will work closely with a senior team member in Belgium — together you’ll “pull the cart” and strengthen the market position.
 
Your Mission 
You take ownership of our commercial growth in Belgium — treating the role as if you are running your own small media agency within a larger ecosystem. You build strong relationships with advertisers and partners and trade organizations, elevate our presence in the market, and inspire a growing team with your entrepreneurial energy.

You will partner closely with a senior Belgian colleague — together you will shape and strengthen the Brussels office and collaborate with the Netherlands team for synergy on Benelux clients and opportunities. 

 
What you will do 
1. Lead Client Relationships & Growth 

  • Act as strategic partner for Belgian clients and senior stakeholders;

  • Understand what drives Belgian advertisers culturally, competitively, and locally;

  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and partnership expansion;

  • Lead pitches and new business initiatives across the Belgian market and join efforts on Benelux market with our office in Amsterdam;

  • Represent our perspective on media, creativity, tech, and AI in the Belgian market.

2. Own Commercial & Strategic Direction 

  • Co-own revenue and margin targets for Belgium;

  • Translate market insights into concrete commercial initiatives;

  • Build strong relationships with Belgian media owners and partners;

  • Position our agency clearly in a competitive and evolving Belgian landscape.

3. Inspire & Grow the Brussels Team 

  • Lead and energize a team of 25+ media experts;

  • Foster a collaborative, warm, Belgian-style agency culture with ambition and team spirit;

  • Promote knowledge sharing, learning, and craftsmanship in media;

  • Build a workplace where people feel proud, valued, heard, and inspired.
     

What makes you a great fit 
Experience & Skills 

  • 7+ years in media (agency or client-side), preferably with strong experience in the Belgian market;

  • Proven commercial success: pitching, client leadership, business growth;

  • Comfortable advising senior marketing leaders (CMO/Csuite);

  • Strategic but willing to be hands-on when needed;

  • Strong financial awareness (P&L, forecasts, commercial deals);

  • Natural leader who creates a positive, trusting environment;  

  • Leadership experience managing teams of 10+ (strong plus).
     

Language Requirements 

  • Fluent in English and French (mandatory);

  • Dutch/ Flemish is a strong plus / preferred but not required.

A relationship-driven commercial leader (FR/EN/NL — Dutch is a plus) who loves the Belgian media market, inspires teams, builds strong client partnerships, and treats the role like running their own agency.
