Job Summary:

The Tax Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting and leading significant aspects of global tax compliance and planning initiatives. This role involves expert analysis and guidance on complex technical tasks and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct thorough analysis of intricate and material tax compliance and provision calculations, applying relevant tax technical rules and business facts.

  • Mentor junior staff members by educating them on appropriate regulations, processes, and internal communication requirements, and initiate improvements that positively impact the team.

  • Collaborate with business partners to integrate business facts with technical rules and models, assess tax implications, and interpret financial statements accordingly.

  • Research and evaluate tax regulations in order to document tax positions, optimize tax impacts, and model the effects of proposed legislation under management oversight.

  • Analyze and develop responses to address inquiries from tax authorities.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Fluent English

Tax Operations:

  • Advice on tax requirements and integration challenges.

  • Resolves agency issues and directs internal audits.

  • Assesses legislative impact and educates on tax filing.

Tax Regulations:

  • Discusses influences on tax rates and teaches current regulations.

  • Develops internal tax policies and analyzes liabilities.

  • Advice on filing needs and assesses competition impacts.

Research Analysis:

  • Critically evaluates and guides advanced research analysis.

  • Monitors industry best practices and report implications.

  • Implements and controls quality in research standards.

Top Candidates also have:

  • Master’s in taxation or a CPA certification

  • Specialized expertise in tax regulations and compliance.

Additional Information

  • Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León

  • This position is five-day a week in-office model.

  • This position will have 10% domestic and international travel.

  • Active passport and USA visa are required

  • Sponsorship for foreign candidates is not available.
