Role: Senior Application Architect (Identity & Retail Systems)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Application Architect, you will be the technical visionary for critical CCRA ID proofing and Retail integration initiatives. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design and architectural integrity of IT solutions that power secure identity verification and risk mitigation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architectural roadmap for identity proofing systems and retail platform integrations (Cornerstone), ensuring scalability and security.
• Design robust frameworks for real-time risk scoring and fraud prevention, focusing on secure identity verification and transaction flow integrity.
• Establish best practices for microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and API design, particularly within a Sovereign AI and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
  Act as the primary technical advisor to Product and Operations teams, translating complex business requirements into high-performance technical blueprints.
  
• Lead deep-dive investigations into systemic anomalies and bottlenecks, implementing data-driven improvements to onboarding and provisioning flows. 
• Design systems for advanced performance management, reporting, and automated service quality measurement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a dedicated Architecture role.
• Mastery of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka), and Cloud-Native patterns (AWS/Google Cloud/OpenShift). 
• Expert knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and CCRA identity proofing standards. 
• Deep familiarity with high-concurrency environments utilizing Go (Golang), Rust, or Java (Spring Boot).
• Strong background in Cyber Security, Identity Access Management (IAM), or FinTech.
• Extensive experience navigating and leading within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or ART environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and mentor senior engineering teams.
