Join our team as a Sr Product Manager and take on complex, ambiguous opportunities to enhance the customer experience within the Security Org at Salesforce. Be a passionate advocate for user-centered design and develop strategies for multiple projects. Drive meaningful customer value with unique business advantages and engage directly with internal and external partners. Act as an industry expert, support Security leaders, and spend time with stakeholders outside your domain. Define success metrics, coordinate cross-functional teams, and launch products smoothly to build customer trust. Responsibilities:
- Evangelizes and follows best practices regarding user centered design and product management.
- Develops strategy and owns milestones for several related projects given a well-defined problem with minimal oversight. The candidate should be able to develop a 1-2 year prioritized roadmap and multi-year roadmap (if applicable).
- Develops AI-driven product strategy with unique and durable business advantages to drive meaningful customer value for their specific area.
- Engages directly with internal customers, and partners (external and internal) to better understand needs and opportunities.
- Acts as an internal authority in customer needs, customer best practices, competitor landscape, and industry trends.
- Supports product leaders by preparing demos and answering questions for industry analysts.
- Spends at least 15% of time with stakeholders outside their domain sub-cloud, including customers, and cross-functional distribution stakeholders.
- Identifies solutions that build long-term value for the business.
- Defines success metrics for projects and proactively ensures those metrics can be monitored throughout the product’s lifecycle.
- Identifies several related solutions in response to an ambiguous problem.
- Coordinates work across several cross-functional teams to optimize customer value and team health, resulting in a positive impact on the customer experience as evidenced by quantitative or qualitative metrics.
- Identifies issues that require escalation quickly and successfully brings those issues to resolution.
- Launches products smoothly in ways that build customer trust and value.
- Communicates messages that inspire groups of people to take collective action.
- Adapts messages to meet the needs of the audience.
- Participates in and contributes to activities that improve the cloud's operations, including onboarding new team members and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Solid understanding of Cloud Technology, as well as AI concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing, and business applications.
- Experience working with AI platforms. Knowledge on Agentforce is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional global team environment.
- Consistent track record of successfully launching products and driving customer value.
- Experience in strategic planning and roadmap development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Note: People management is not available at this level except as an APM Rotation Manager.
