Collect, analyze, and prepare recommendations for financial plans. Consult and advise all levels of business leaders of financial forecasts to make informed short and long - term financial decisions. May lead staff responsible for collecting and analyzing data. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Process and Execution leads on collections productivity results.

    Understanding drivers of productivity.

    Analyzing drive level detail to understand actual productivity results.

    Working with DS executives on understanding their actual productivity results and providing Ad hoc analysis.

  • Work with analyst to ensure data captured in productivity tools is accurate.
  • Lead monthly Operational Excellence meetings with Process leads and Donor Services executives.
  • Develop business cases for assigned projects working with financial analyst, process teams, execution teams to ensure accuracy in assumptions.
  • Present business cases to Senior Leadership working with process partners.
  • Conduct and document highly complex financial analysis projects.
  • May lead staff responsible for collecting and analyzing data.


Scope
Individual contributor and acknowledged expert both within the organization as well as within other organizations. Participate in industry/knowledge reference groups. Master of a specialized discipline and thorough understanding of a number of disciplines. May also require development of new solutions for complex projects.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. CPA preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system.

*Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
 

PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
