Position Summary
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The Manager, Revenue Execution, plays a pivotal role in advancing this mission by ensuring the effective and timely conversion of global demand into realized revenue across assigned product lines.
This role is designed for a results-oriented leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is driven to solve persistent execution challenges. You will own global backlog execution, partnering across Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain to remove constraints, optimize fulfillment strategies, and deliver measurable business impact.
As a central orchestrator across functions, you will bring structure, visibility, and accountability to execution processes—driving sustainable improvements through Thermo Fisher’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) business system while exemplifying our 4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
What You Will Do
Global Backlog Execution & Revenue Delivery
Own end-to-end execution of the global backlog, ensuring timely conversion to revenue and improved customer outcomes
Establish visibility into backlog health, aging, and risk; lead targeted actions to accelerate fulfillment
Partner with regional commercial teams to drive consistent and high-impact execution practices
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
Act as the central point of coordination across Operations, Supply Chain/SIOP, Distribution, Order Management, Customer Service, Product Management, IT, and Commercial teams
Align stakeholders on priorities, constraints, and execution strategies to optimize outcomes across the network
Influence without direct authority to drive accountability and results in a highly matrixed environment
Constraint Resolution & Fulfillment Optimization
Identify, prioritize, and resolve supply and fulfillment constraints impacting backlog execution
Lead inventory rebalancing strategies to unlock stranded supply across regions and distribution networks
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to optimize order routing based on capacity, lead time, and availability
Standardize order adjustment strategies to maximize service levels and revenue realization
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement (PPI)
Define, track, and report KPIs related to backlog execution, fulfillment velocity, and revenue conversion
Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions using PPI methodologies
Standardize best practices and drive process consistency globally
Develop scalable tools and governance mechanisms (dashboards, routines, reporting) to sustain improvements
Commercial Partnership & Customer Impact
Support commercial teams in navigating supply constraints with clear, actionable guidance
Enhance transparency around order status, risks, and fulfillment opportunities
Ensure customer commitments are met with urgency and integrity
Leadership Expectations (4i Values in Action)
Integrity – Build trust through transparent communication, data-driven decisions, and consistent follow-through on commitments
Intensity – Bring urgency and focus to resolving execution challenges and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Innovation – Challenge the status quo by identifying new ways to optimize fulfillment, remove constraints, and improve processes
