Position Purpose: Responsible for executing, coordinating, analyzing all those processes related to the services we provide to our employees. The position is responsible for day-to-day decision making, continuous improvement and assuring the stability of the office’s operation. This position will interact with employees working in L.L. Bean Costa Rica, with vendors that provide services, and with US counterparts.

Responsible for purchase order creation, supplier relations, price, and product quality assurance with a focus on internal and external customer service. Verification of purchase order flows to ensure final product delivery and timely payments to suppliers.

About you:

  • Education level: Advanced student or degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • English Level: Advanced (C1)

  • Experience: Previous experience is not required, but it’s a plus.

About the role:

  • On-site presence: approximately 1 to 2 days a week. 

  • Process owner and executor of the employee purchase benefit for CRO (L.L. Bean products).

  • Provide general advice and service to the organization's employees in planning and coordinating their travels. Coordinates training sessions for end users on profile setup and travel details, collaborates with LLBean US when needed.

  • Supports visitors with travel arrangements.

  • Procurement’s process owner: creation of the shopping carts for the Costa Rica office and invoice tracking until final payment to the supplier.

  • Support leaders located in USA who have direct reports in Costa Rica with ad hoc requests.

  • Local purchasing with local vendors.

  • Purchase gift cards.

  • Coordinate courier and office deliveries.

  • Efficient management of suppliers.

  • Cell phone asset and plan control.

  • Purchase and delivery of recognition products.

  • Review, control, and purchase of Office Supplies list.

  • Notification and follow-up of contract expirations to inform each owner of the contract process.

  • Promoter and role model of excellent customer service.

  • Support and create an effective team environment, aligned with L.L. Bean culture and values.

This is a CR-based position. To be considered, please be aware that you must be currently authorized to work in Costa Rica.
