As a Senior Specialist on our Information Security Team, you'll play a critical role in protecting Nasdaq's platforms and systems by discovering security vulnerabilities and delivering security solutions across our software development and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, red team exercises and risk evaluations across systems, networks, and applications of varying complexity.
Detect security vulnerabilities and help design and maintain security aspect of the solutions across new and existing applications, systems architecture, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Identify and remediate complex system vulnerabilities — including web application threats, malicious code, and network-level exposures — across applications.
Leverage AI tools to enhance team productivity and evaluate emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in security practices.
Prepare security risk analysis reports and develop response procedures to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Active certification from a recognized security body (e.g., SANS, OffSec, or ISC2).
5+ years of experience in application security, information security, or a related discipline.
Proven ability to analyze complex system vulnerabilities and develop effective technical remediation strategies.
Strong understanding of web application security threats and secure software development practice.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working across cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and risk.
Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern application development practices.
Track record of integrating security practices within agile or continuous delivery workflow
This position will be located in Philadelphia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
