The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer Architect to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems that solve an assortment of unique mission needs. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.
What You'll Get To Do:
Define and maintain the visions for an end solution focused demonstration ensuring the end demonstration meets customer and product technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Take ownership of the system definition, development, and integration, and final testing by performing various systems engineering tasks such as functional analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies. Interfacing with multiple disciplines, including customers, internal executive management, program management, hardware, software, system engineering, procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing ensuring demonstration success. Acting as the liaison between the technical performance team, the customer, and the program team, the applicant must be able to lead and summarize progress for all demonstrator technical performance metrics which tracking and assessing compliance to system level requirements, technical risks, key performance parameters, and lessons learned.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills and will have an excellent track record as an effective communicator and problem solver, who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the business areas as required to accomplish the team goals.

Salary Range: $174,800.00 - $274,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
