Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for an Environmental Specialist/Safety Officer. This position will be based onsite at two MES facilities located in Montgomery County, MD. The Environmental Specialist/Safety Officer provides project planning and technical support for environmental science, engineering, construction, and planning activities and services. 

Estimated Pay Range:

$50,233.92- $69,070.88

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required, along with one year of experience in environmental science, regulatory compliance, engineering, or environmental management. An applicable advanced degree may be substituted for the required experience.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing onsite environmental compliance and safety support for MES operations.

Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
