Position Summary...

About Team:


The Information Technology team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Walmart continues to grow an elite the Engineering and development team delivers advanced, data-driven services to enable scalable, improved security posture for Walmart. Engineering and development team is looking for a Software engineer - III, who has a passion for developing products and services for our Portal development, workflow management and other technology services. Ideal candidates should have strong background in technology awareness. Some of the core technology experiences that are desirable for this role would be to have a good UI development experience, backend technologies including integration with backend REST APIs


 What you'll do:

  • Develop services solutions, frameworks, and tools for Engineering and Development in the enterprise.
  • You will work with engineers, external teams, and partners in an agile manner to build and release product features that caters to business requirements.
  • Use your knowledge of applicable UI technology stacks and backend platforms to automate cloud services.
  • You’ll work to design and architect solutions to remove performance impacting barriers and increasing efficiency of our automation operations.
  • You will be building services, tools, portals, backend REST APIs and Integrating with Rest APIs and apply your knowledge as part of your solutions.
  • Create proof of concepts, prototyping and experimentation.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of 3-5 years in related technologies.
  • As a full stack engineer, experience in building scalable, resilient, secure enterprise services application platforms.
  • Working experience in programming language such as React and React Native, JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such Node, React, Java, Spring-boot framework, SQL, NoSQL databases, any messaging queue system (RabbitMQ, Kafka) etc.
  • Good to have docker and Kubernetes experience.
  • Good to have knowledge of any of the clouds like Microsoft Azure, GCP or AWS.
  • Must have CICD knowledge/experience.
  • Working experience in scaling solutions and platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new programming languages or technologies
  • Flexibility in adopting to new areas of work, domain and technical competencies.
  • Awareness about cloud domain, security services etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
