We're enhancing the performance and efficiency of our statewide Battery Program, and we’re looking for a proactive and technically minded Battery Operations Consultant to help drive operational excellence.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for technical advice, stock management, process improvements and stakeholder support. You’ll work closely with Service Delivery, Auto Services and our Contact Centre to ensure our battery operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently.

What you will be doing?

• Support and Optimise: Manage statewide battery inventory, monitor stock levels and facilitate restocking across facilities to ensure service continuity.
• Provide Technical Expertise: Deliver technical support on batteries, testing equipment and fitment to Patrols, Technicians and Contact Centre teams.
• Build Capability: Assist in creating training materials and communications that enhance technical competency across operational teams.
• Drive Improvement: Support product updates, process enhancements and promotional initiatives to elevate member experience and operational efficiency.
• Monitor Performance: Track costs, analyse performance data and contribute to budget planning activities.
• Collaborate for Success: Foster productive relationships with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders to streamline operations.
• Champion Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements across all battery operations.

What are we looking for in you?

Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in operational or technical support roles, including:

• Strong background in operations, inventory management or technical support
• Automotive or battery technology experience (desirable)
• Exceptional communication, troubleshooting and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational ability with a talent for managing competing priorities
• Current WA Driver’s Licence
• Tertiary qualification or automotive trade background (desirable)
