Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)

What you bring to SBHG (Qualifications):

 Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; or two (2) years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in business and/or database management preferred.
• Familiarity with the LA County IBHIS system is a plus.

License/Certification:

• Valid California driver's license preferred (travel between offices may be required)

How you will make a difference (Job Overview):

This role manages critical administrative and financial tasks for multiple client programs, including Wraparound TEAMMATES, Medicare, SVCS, and other SBHG-affiliated clients. Responsibilities encompass processing DDE billing, flex-funds, and OMAs, managing 270/271 transactions, handling EMR alerts, and addressing program/insurance voids, deletions, and claim denials/rebills.

Division/Program Overview:

A billing specialist manages the entire billing cycle, from generating invoices and verifying data to tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. They ensure timely client payments, maintain accurate financial records, and optimize revenue collection through direct communication and meticulous oversight.
