We have an exciting opportunity for a Surgery Resident to join the team at Southfields.
We are an outgoing and friendly team, that is looking for enthusiastic hard-working vets who are willing to be part of the expanding Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgical Service at Southfields, currently formed by four senior clinicians, two residents and one intern.
Surgical residents at Southfields follow a supervised standard ECVS training program, mentored by a senior clinician, increasing their level of surgical skills gradually until they are allowed to perform surgeries by themselves during the second and third year of residency. They will have allocated a research project from their first year in order to develop it during their residency. The residents should be committed to developing the practice and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons.
