Job Introduction

You will contribute to 3D modeling for new products by creating reusable CAD assets and supporting the new product development team to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will work with CAD/PLM users to discuss and help implement process improvements, contributing to streamlined workflows and optimized design practices.

Main responsibilities

• Support Asia CATIA users in the efficient creation of new products using CATIA and PLM
• Participate in CAD Planning meetings with project team members
• Assist with Global Tools & Outdoor PLM/CAD communications from EATO to the Asia Community
• Test & provide feedback on functions & processes in CAD/PLM
• Use CATIA to:
  • Create, modify & review reusable (2D & 3D) assets for platforms that support New Product Development
  • Create component and assembly models to support the new product development as required
• Assist with CATIA training (onsite and remote) for new users and specific courses as identified; help translate materials as needed
• Provide regular support for end users
• Contribute to the creation or modification of documentation to support processes and/or instructional materials related to CAD/PLM
• Create and review Changes in PLM
• Work collaboratively with other EATO Team members

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and related fields
• Strong 3D modeling skills; experience with 3DEXPERIENCE is a plus.
• 3 years + product development experience preferable
• Understanding of GD&T methodology and 2D drafting principles
• Good communication skills (including English)
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external diverse workforce
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, e.g. Injection Molding, Casting, Sheetmetal, etc.
