About the Role

Part of a global network engaging in strategic approaches to targeted MRO customers with strong interpersonal skills to deliver MRO and technical sales presentations & identify customer problems. Always providing exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Consults with existing and potential clients (airlines, MRO companies) to assess and understand equipment raw material needs and systems requirements.
  • Drafts, or assists with the drafting, of high impact sales presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
  • Oversees customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Takes part in periodic Strategic Marketing Meetings to position the company for further growth.
  • Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs.
  • Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Manages and updates customer databases, or portals, as required.
  • Resolves any issues and problems faced by customers and addresses customer issues and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and maintain trust.
  • Plays an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
  • Proposes improved materials or new products to customers and explains benefits of changes.
  • Communicates with customer throughout the order fulfillment process.
  • Expedites and traces customer orders.
  • Communicates with management and other employees to facilitate customer satisfaction and further sales.
  • Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment.
  • Prepares product orders and schedules deliveries.
  • Assists with research and development of new products.
  • Participates in (global) exhibitions promoting Future Metals product portfolio.
  • Organizes own agenda and travel.
  • Travel 65-80%

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
  • Previous customer service or sales support experience required.
  • Aerospace background advantageous (not essential).
  • Proven experience as Sales Director, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, or similar, preferable in raw metallic materials and/or services for the commercial aerospace aftermarket
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
