Job Description

Job Title: Material Management Specialist
Location: Site Warehouse -Malanday Valenzuela City, Philippines

What will you do?

Perform material control function including but not limited to the following:

  • Reporting to the Site Manager.
  • Manage the incoming material deliveries, check inventories and dispatch of materials to subcontractors.
  • Maintain warehouse and inventory yard areas, ensuring efficient material storage and handling.
  • Receive, track and store materials, updating the management system.
  • Coordinate with site engineers for material requirements and movement of materials to various sites.
  • Coordinate with procurement/SCM for delivery discrepancies and damages.
  • Receive good, conduct inspection, and update records.

Education & Expereince Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Any 4-year course related to Business and/or Office Administration
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation/drawings, etc. and Document Control quality checks.
  • Some experience with rail projects and relevant industry standard client documentation practices is desirable.
  • Assisting the Site Lead(s) with ad-hoc admin requests

Competencies / Skills Required:

  • Computer literacy especially skilled in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, ProjectWise etc. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral).
  • Ability to work in a busy fast-paced site office environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A good team worker with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Certification in Document Control is ideal but not essential.
