This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

Help lead the evolution of our Data & Analytics department at HarbourVest. As the Director of Data & Analytics Operations, you'll support the Managing Director, Head of Data & Analytics. This pivotal role demands strong project management skills and operational leadership to meet departmental goals and drive organizational success!

What you will do:

• Communications and Storytelling: Build and compose high impact executive presentations, board materials, and leadership updates that clearly communicate accomplishments, progress, and impact of our data transformation.
• Culture and Team Alignment: Support talent initiatives to elevate team performance, skills, and collaboration; help reinforce company culture and values, and assist with organizational development priorities.
• Internal Visibility and Recognition: Feature and communicate accomplishments, sprint wins, and client impact company-wide to boost motivation, enhance credibility, and improve business relationships.
• Manage goals and milestones process, track progress, and communicate outcomes to Leadership.
• Meeting & Agenda Management: Coordinate and facilitate leadership meetings, prepare agendas, ensure follow-ups, and track key action items.
• Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks or challenges and proactively propose and implement solutions.
• Special Projects for the Head of D&A: Lead initiatives that accelerate organization maturity and learning.
• Support IT-wide projects as needed. Examples may include QBR and Employee Engagement plan development and execution.
• And other responsibilities as required

Education Preferred:

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or similar background
• Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree or similar background

Experience:

• 10+ Years in IT operations, PMO, HR, or Finance roles
