Position Summary

We have an opportunity for an Account Director for one of our major telco partners to join Samsung Electronics Australia!

Role and Responsibilities

  • Developing both short and longer term Sales plans and targets to support revenue growth of Samsung’s Mobile Experience products across both B2C and B2B
  • Translating strategic intent into practical execution and leading the team to delivery upon each product category.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across the Account to foster strong brand advocacy, high disposition to growing the Samsung business ensuring a high level of mind-share for Samsung.
  • Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
  • Coordinating company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
  • Formulating appropriate sales policies, practices and procedures
  • Lead and coach individuals within the team to ensure they have the right skills and capabilities to deliver upon goals, drive engagement and delivery a supportive working culture.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Account Director in Consumer Electronics or alternatively from a telecommunication corporation
  • Understanding of the retail market within Australia, with vendor/supplier management experience
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and expectations
  • Experience in sales, marketing or forecasting in previous roles preferred
  • A drive to improve operational processes
  • Strong Communication skills

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
