Job Description

This internship is payrolled via payroll process provider. 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete safety training to allow supervised work in the TEL process lab.
  • Become familiar with semiconductor processing techniques through literature and hands on learning.
  • Assist process engineers to test and develop new processes and improve current processes.
  • Prepare wafers and run various process conditions as defined with a process engineer.
  • Collect and analyze process results by film thickness measurements, particle counters, surface analysis, and other techniques.
  • Document all processes and results in a laboratory notebook.
  • Draw conclusions and purpose additional experimental work.
  • Prepare and present a final project report.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
  • Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicals.
  • Background in computer skills. (Word processing, spreadsheet analysis, data graphing)
