We are currently looking for a Mining Intern to join our Purchasing team in Farmington Hills, Michigan during Summer 2025.

A Day in the Life:   

• Review and Understand Mining plans of 6 key junior miners.

  • Review Pit optimization plans/compare results

• Research US, Canada, and Australian Permitting Structures

  • Study what permits are required for a Lithium and Nickel mine

  • Understand where each key junior miner is in the process

• Track and report on status of sourcing, cost reductions, process improvements, and other defined goals

• Assist with other various tasks as needed

 Who We’re Looking for: 

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree program studying Mining Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field.

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft products and PowerPoint

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Ability to perform work onsite
