Department Overview

The Product team is a cross‑functional group responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap, and experience across the Resilience Platform and its solution suite, including Recover (Business Continuity), Collaborate (Crisis & Emergency Management), Resolve (Security Operations), Alert (Mass Notification), Engage (mobile app for community and employee safety), and the core low‑code/no‑code platform.

The Configuration team brings these product visions to life by building modular, scalable configuration packages that can be deployed across customers and industries. This role leads that team and ensures we deliver solutions that are powerful, consistent, and integrated.

Job Description

The Senior Product Owner – Configuration leads the end‑to‑end definition, delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of solution configurations on the Resilience Platform. This role acts as the primary bridge between Product Managers (horizontal and vertical), Engineering, Professional Services, and our distributed Configuration Analyst team.

You will manage and mentor the configuration team, prioritise and allocate work, maintain alignment with product roadmaps, and ensure that configurations are high‑quality, repeatable, versioned, and scalable. A key responsibility is to establish and execute the long‑term configuration management strategy — evolving our configuration library into a cohesive, modular, low‑maintenance asset that supports growth across customer segments with minimal customisation.

This role is both operational (managing daily workflow, quality, and delivery) and strategic (shaping the future of our configuration architecture and lifecycle).

Success in this role requires strong leadership, systems thinking, stakeholder management, and deep experience with configuration‑driven/low‑code platforms.

Basic Requirements

Key Responsibilities (What you’ll do)

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Configuration Analysts (primarily Philippines‑based).

  • Manage workload allocation, priorities, capacity planning, and delivery timelines.

  • Build a culture of quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Configuration Strategy & Architecture

  • Establish and maintain the Configuration Library Management Strategy, including standards for solution design, documentation, versioning, testing, and deployment.

  • Ensure our configurations are modular, scalable, and reusable so customers can adopt subsets of functionality across solutions seamlessly.

  • Define the long‑term roadmap for improving the configuration library and reducing customer‑specific customisation over time.

Product & Solution Delivery

  • Translate market and product requirements into clear, actionable configuration stories and solution designs.

  • Work closely with Product Managers (horizontal and vertical) to prioritise, refine, and validate configuration needs.

  • Partner with UX, Engineering, and Professional Services to deliver high‑quality, integrated solutions.

Quality, Governance & Maintenance

  • Ensure all configurations meet defined quality standards and align with product strategy.

  • Conduct solution reviews, configuration critiques, and walkthroughs to ensure consistency and maintainability.

  • Validate configuration changes through testing, defect reproduction, and feedback loops.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for configuration work across Product, Professional Services, Sales, and Support.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with Product Managers who “consume” configuration work.

  • Communicate progress, risks, timelines, and constraints clearly and proactively.

Documentation & Operational Excellence

  • Produce and maintain clear documentation, including solution definitions, design artefacts, deployment notes, configuration standards, and usage guides.

  • Ensure configuration packages can be deployed reliably and supported over time.

Qualifications (What we’re looking for)

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience working with configuration‑driven, low‑code/no‑code enterprise platforms.

  • Demonstrated success managing distributed/offshore teams.

  • Strong ability to translate business or product requirements into functional configurations.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex configuration concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing tactical execution with long‑term strategy.

  • Experience developing or maintaining configuration libraries, modules, templates, or reusable components.

  • Familiarity with Noggin configuration libraries (or similar enterprise resilience/incident management platforms) is highly desirable.

Leadership Attributes

  • Systems thinker with the ability to design for scale.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and feedback‑driven.

  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

  • Committed to quality, consistency, and long‑term maintainability.

Other Requirements

  • Successful applicants will be required to pass a police security clearance
