Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software user manuals. Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates

Be part of an agile team that is responsible for maintaining the application enabling source and threat review.

oProvides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
oEstablishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
oA Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications and/or expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique.
oHas domain and expert technical knowledge.
oPerforms the following kinds of functions:
oInitiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs;
oProvides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff;
oProvides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
oConsults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
oDecision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation
oMay supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:
oBachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
oManagement, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
o12-15 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
oAbility to work well within a small agile team environment
oStrong communication skills
oUS Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
oExperience in ElasticSearch, Vue.js, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services.
oDOD Top Secret Clearance is required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
