Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a talented individual in the Reno, Nevada area to join our team as an Account Manager. In this role, you will represent CLEAResult to customers, contractors, and partners—building relationships, supporting program participation, and driving energy savings across multiple programs.

This is a field‑based role that supports a variety of programs, including retail, residential HVAC, and other energy efficiency initiatives. The position requires regular travel throughout Northern Nevada and offers a mix of customer engagement and administrative responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and grow customer accounts while supporting program participation and savings goals.

  • Act as a local, on‑site representative for customers and contractors, encouraging participation and resolving issues.

  • Support multiple program types, including retail, residential HVAC, and other energy efficiency offerings.

  • Travel throughout a defined territory to visit customers, contractors, and retail locations.

  • Verify installations, inventory, and program compliance during site visits.

  • Provide guidance to customers and contractors on program requirements and processes.

  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in program systems.

  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions based on program and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support program success and identify opportunities for growth.

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer tools.

  • Ability to track, document, and manage customer interactions and data.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Experience working with contractors, construction, or building trades.

  • Background in B2B sales or technical product sales (e.g., HVAC, building materials, equipment).

  • Familiarity with energy efficiency or utility programs.

  • Ability to understand and communicate basic technical information.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.

  • Adaptable and comfortable managing multiple programs and priorities.

  • Accountable and organized, with strong follow‑through.

  • Problem‑solver with a customer‑focused mindset.

Work Environment

  • Field‑based role supporting the Northern Nevada region.

  • Regular travel required (approximately 3 days per week).

  • Occasional longer trips across the territory (a few times per year).

  • Mix of field work and administrative responsibilities.

Compensation

Target range: $75,000

Final compensation will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range

$59,500.00 - $89,200.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
