In this role you will oversee espiratory care delivered by Respiratory Therapy personnel to ensure quality of patient care, adherence to policy and the promotion of academic change. We treat a broad spectrum of patients locally, nationally and internationally.
Our patients come to us with various concerns regarding their pulmonary health, and our goal is to ease their fears, educate their understanding, and care for those needing assistance. We take pride in how we strive to meet these goals.
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:30am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide all forms of respiratory therapy education and coaching to both patients and advanced caregivers on multidisciplinary teams
Ensure services/programs adhere to TQI principles.
Evaluate and share quality data with customers for continuous process improvement.
Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and responds with action plans to improve results.
Assist the Education Coordinator with the development of an ongoing program of orientation, training and continuing education for staff.
Perform the duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist as needed
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's degree and graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Current State of Ohio Respiratory Care (RCP) board licensure.
RRT credentialing through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) credentialing through the American Heart Association (AHA)
3 years of critical care experience
Demonstrated leadership and / or teaching skills to diverse patient / student poplulations

Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC.
Normal or corrected vision.
Extensive sitting and frequent walking.
Occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
