MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

  • The Client Implementation Manager responsible to deliver end to end global/regional implementation projects which cover all aspects of Transaction Banking(TB) products for our clients;
  • The role holder support to drive strategic priorities of the TB business to achieve optimal time to revenue and  promoting positive culture;
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through effective communication, understanding client's treasury and business needs, and ensure customer satisfaction with  implementation journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to work independently and employ logical problem-solving skills to Identify, remove, and own any blockers that may affect a successful implementation to deliver a best-in-class customer experience;
  • Consistently deliver best in class implementation, integration and documentation experience for clients and internal stakeholders in most efficient and globally consistent approach;
  • Deliver enhanced client experience through consultative approach which contribute to streamline their business workflow, optimise customer’s investment such as in treasury management system (TMS) and enterprise resource planner (ERP);
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of adapting style and approach to global audience and message to be delivered to both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in industry standard in corporate and bank communication messaging(such as ISO20022 standards, SWIFT for Corporates), knowledge in latest digital development(e.g. RestAPI) and testing processes and methodologies.
  • A subject matter expert in digital channels and underlying systems and processes and payment landscape regionally, with a global awareness.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential:

  • Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery is essential.
  • Excellent Time Management skills to ensure prioritisation of key deals and tasks to maintain the required project timelines is essential.
  • Demonstrate vast experience working in customer facing roles through strong track record in client centricity is essential;.
  • Experienced in participate or lead change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways.

  • ISO20022 format standards(MT, MX messaging)
  • Working knowledge in connectivity protocol(HTTPS, SFTP, SWIFTnet)
  • Basic understanding in encryption(PGP) mechanism
  • Project management methodologies(agile, PRINCE2, PMP, etc)
  • JIRA, MSOffice suites

PERFORMANCE AND DUTIES

The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entity’s performance framework and process with relevant input obtained from the dual hatting entity as relevant.

As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and emended in consultation with the role holder. The role holder will carry out other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role as requested by their line manager or Department Head.

MANAGING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

  • The role holder will have responsibilities for both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
  • The role holder will be required to perform their duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour.
  • The role holder is required to follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is appropriately supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of each of MUFG Bank and MUS.
  • Working terms are dictated by functional mandates, the terms of the Dual-Hat Arrangement Agreement in place between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc and any other relevant agreements entered into between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
  • The role holder will have responsibility for identifying and resolving where there may be a difference or conflict in needs between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, escalating to their manager where required.
