An opportunity has become available for a senior registered nurse leader to step into the EN Graduate Coordinator role on a permanent basis.

About the Role

Working with the education team and specifically the other graduate coordinators, this role focuses on supporting and developing our Enrolled Nurse graduates. Responsibilities include:

▪ Mentoring, supporting and coordinating the EN Graduate Program including study days

▪ Providing expert clinical and academic advice to managers and staff on graduate learning

▪ Working collaboratively with department and education staff who have graduates in their areas

▪ Promotion, marketing, recruitment and retention of graduate nurses

▪ Performance development and management of graduate nurses as required

▪ Assistance with other education program offerings where required and willingness to work across our four acute care private sites

About You

Essential

▪ Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions

▪ Knowledge of Enrolled Nurse Standards

▪ Knowledge of current trends and challenges with graduate nurse programs

▪ Experience working with and supporting early career nurses

▪ Sound clinical knowledge to support early career nurses across a variety of clinical settings

▪ Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

▪ Highly developed performance development and management skills

Desirable

▪ Previous nursing education experience

▪ Managing education programs, ideally with an early career nurse focus

▪ Post-graduate qualification (or working towards)
