The Product Growth squad is part of the Everyday Products Crew. The Product Owner has end to end accountability for the retail foreign exchange multi-currency product. Our purpose is to deliver exceptional everyday spending experiences through innovative products, data-driven insights and quality partnerships.

As the Product Owner (at Senior Manager level), you will collaborate with other value-chain, product and technical squads and business stakeholders to define and implement the short and long-term priorities that will ensure we achieve our strategic ambitions.  The Product Owner will lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities. They will drive a quarterly prioritisation process for their squad, manage a backlog of initiatives and define metrics and outcomes that align to our strategy.

You will also contribute to the product vision, strategy and customer value proposition for product suite within the Everyday Spending value stream. You will have exposure to the financial and non-financial performance of your product to deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes. This role reports to the Crew Lead Everyday Products and works closely with the Everyday Spending value stream. 

More specifically you will;

  • Contribute to the vision and product roadmap for the Travel Money Card product
  • Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities including driving decisions, resolving dependencies and navigating escalations
  • Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking
  • Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design
  • Maintain a healthy prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and partners
  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to
  • Contribute to the strategy of the broader value stream focused on for retail payments and foreign exchange products
  • Ensure projects are delivered with a focus on executional excellence and the Group Delivery Framework with a proactive approach to managing change-associated risks

We’re interested in hearing from people who

  • Have Product Owner experience, leading teams to high performance
  • Are experienced in the definition and delivery of product roadmaps
  • Have substantial experience on systems integration initiatives in a complex environment, working across multiple technology platforms, vendors and business domains
  • Experience with Agile frameworks, working within an Agile Matrix would be ideal
  • Have experience managing risks and product compliance and using formal methods to document them
  • Strong collaboration with teams on work streams/ project activities end-to-end and independently manage deliverables
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
