Job Description

Position Summary:

Working as a Process Operator within a manufacturing environment, you will work a 40-hour week, Sunday to Thursday on a 9h shift pattern alternating between 06:00-18:00. In this role you will be part of a fast paced and highly dynamic team that is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and packaging. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively drive to eliminate unsafe situations or practices observed with department.
  • Following work instruction document, standard operating procedures and standard works
  • Assembling product using specific written instructions, blueprints and drawings
  • Record corrects and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents
  • Perform inspection of in-process and finished product.
  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.
  • Assist in training function of co-workers and mentoring.
  • Daily Schedule adherence.
  • Understand the performance metrics, safety metrics and practices for your team/department.
  • Allocate materials to process orders using the stock management system (SAP).

Experience, skills & abilities required:

  • Demonstrates good attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, record data accurately and is comfortable using a computer, including e-mail.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred, however, is not essential.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2 years production experience (preferred)
