•  The Big Data, Insights and Strategy (BDIS) team within HP Print Solutions is pivotal in harnessing the power of Big Data and AI to revolutionize how we understand and interact with our customers. BDIS generates actionable insights to drive significant business outcomes and delivers AI-driven products to enable forecasting and planning, ensuring that our strategies are informed by deep, data-driven understandings. 

Job Summary
As the Senior Manager of Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will lead a specialized team focused on advancing our AI capabilities, particularly in the realms of Generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics. This role demands a leader who can elevate our existing AI frameworks to power strategic business decisions, planning and forecasting, transitioning from traditional data optimization to leveraging sophisticated AI techniques, and scaling projects from prototypes or POCs to full production. 

Key Responsibilities

•  Strategic AI Leadership: Adoption and implementation of AI/GenAI technologies across HP's corporate and print solutions, aligning with the strategic objectives set by the BDIS. 

•  Development and Scaling of AI Solutions: Spearhead the lifecycle of AI/GenAI projects, emphasizing the creation and deployment of advanced AI/GenAI models for predictive analytics and decision support systems. 

Compliance and Security: Ensure that all AI/GenAI products comply with cyber security measures, data governance, and privacy laws. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across various units within HP to integrate AI-driven insights and models into broader strategic initiatives, enhancing data-driven decision-making processes. 

Team and Talent Management: Oversee a diverse team of AI professionals, fostering innovation and skill development while managing resources and project timelines effectively. 

Education & Experience
Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or a related field. 
• 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of experience in managing AI/ML/GenAI projects, with significant expertise in deploying GenAI applications in insights within a large, data-driven organization. 

Technologies & Tools

• Text Generation and Predictive Modeling: Profound experience with GenAI models like GPT-3/GPT-4 for advanced text generation, content creation, and developing predictive analytics tools that forecast market trends and consumer behavior. 

• Natural Language Processing: Advanced skills in NLP to enhance forecasting accuracy and derive deeper insights from textual data. 

• Data Synthesis and Augmentation:  Skilled in employing generative models to synthesize new datasets for training purposes or to enhance data diversity and quality. 

• AI Development Tools and Platforms: Proficiency in Jupyter Notebooks, and cloud AI platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, and AWS SageMaker. 

• Machine Learning Frameworks: Extensive knowledge in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other frameworks critical for developing sophisticated AI models. 

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep Understanding of GenAI Applications:  Expertise in applying GenAI to transform traditional business intelligence into advanced, predictive insights and decision-making tools. 

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term AI strategies that dramatically impact business operations. 

Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of cyber security, data privacy, and governance requirements in large-scale data environments, ensuring that GenAI solutions are compliant and secure. 

• Communication and Influence: Exceptional ability to communicate complex GenAI concepts and influence executive and cross-functional team decisions. 

• Project Management: Strong project management capabilities, with experience overseeing large-scale AI projects and diverse technical teams.
