A. Surgical Conversion and Sales Counseling

  • Prepare accurate and timely surgical quotations based on the doctor’s orders and recommendations.

  • Discuss and explain surgical quotations to patients by presenting fee structure and available options (e.g., types of lenses, surgical procedures, and packages)

  • Educate patients on promotions, financing options, insurance coverage, and payment plans.

  • Apply consultative and ethical sales techniques to address patient hesitations and encourage informed decisions to proceed with surgery.

  • Conduct systematic follow-ups on released or pending quotations to convert into confirmed surgical bookings through consistent engagement.

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual surgical sales targets and conversion rates.

B. Patient Consultation and Pre-Operative Information

  • Provide clear, individualized pre-operative information to patients and their families, including instructions, consent forms, quotations, and required pre-operative tests or documentation.

  • Support doctors’ explanation of procedures, expected outcomes, risks, and post-operative care in patient-friendly terms.

  • Distribute educational and visual materials (e.g., brochures, handouts) to support patient understanding of eye conditions, surgical procedures, and recovery.

  • Address basic medical and surgical inquiries and escalate technical or complex concerns to the appropriate physicians or departments.

    C. Patient Surgical Journey Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for patients from first inquiry through surgery scheduling and post-procedure follow-up.
       

    • Guide patients through pre-surgical requirements, documentation, and scheduling processes.

    • Provide reassurance, support, and clear communication to enhance patient confidence and trust throughout the surgical journey.

    • Advocate for patient needs and preferences, ensuring they are respected and addressed during the surgical process.

    • Coordinate closely with Ophthalmologists, Surgical Coordinator, Care Delivery,  Pharmacy, Medical Records, Finance, and Operating Room teams to ensure seamless patient care.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, quotations, follow-ups, and progress in the clinic’s CRM or patient management system.
       

    E. Quality Management and Continuous Improvement

    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient counseling services and overall patient satisfaction.

    • Listen to and analyze internal and external customer experiences to identify opportunities for service improvement.

    • Share insights and collaborate with the surgical team to develop best practices in surgical counseling and patient engagement.

    • Provide reports and feedback to management on conversion rates, patient concerns, and operational observations.
       

    F. Brand Representation and Professional Conduct

    • Serve as a professional and premium ambassador of Asian Eye, consistently reflecting the clinic’s values, ethics, and commitment to excellence.

    • Ensure all patient interactions reinforce the clinic’s reputation, professionalism, and patient-centered culture.

    • Uphold confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care and sales activities.

    G. Continuous Learning and Development

    • Stay updated on the latest ophthalmic procedures, technologies, and industry developments.

    •  Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve counseling effectiveness and patient conversion strategies.
