Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams to implement technical improvements.

• Design layout of technical improvements. This applies for mechanical and electrical changes. The usage of design software is required.

• Write equipment specifications, align within organization and also with potential suppliers. Define budget and timing for technical changes.

• Fulfil safety legislation (work environment, environmental legislation) and company internal safety rules while implementing technical improvements. Guide potential suppliers how to apply company safety standards.

• Economic control of project budget and control of project time scale. The usage of related software like MS Project is required.

• Identify, plan and execute technical changes improving production efficiency.

• Responsible for updating technical documentation related to technical changes. This requires the active use of CAD software for updating technical drawings.

• Training of maintenance personnel (project and safety related training).

• Active usage of company internal case management system.

• Responsible for regular safety rounds ensuring equipment is complying with safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Min Bachelor degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

• Several years of experience as Engineer in a production environment.

• Experience in Project management and usage of Project management software like for example MS project.

• Advanced language skills in both Swedish and English (written and verbal).

• Good overall technical knowledge, technical interest and capable doing technical calculations.

• Capable to use CAD system for minor drawing updates.

• Safety regulations knowledge (AFS, EN standards).

• Capable to lead inter-departmental, inter-company and multifunctional teams.

• Relational, communication and presentation skills.
