ROLE SUMMARY

The US Customer Engagement Primary Care Product Training Development & Delivery Specialist - Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization role is responsible for Customer Engagement Training for Primary Care BU’s one or more brands or therapeutic areas (TA).  The role is responsible for providing product training to new and existing CFCs leading to product certification and ensuring that CFCs have the skills and knowledge required to successfully represent Pfizer in the marketplace.  As the representative of the Customer Engagement Training Team to the brand/TA leadership, the US Customer Engagement Primary Care Product Training Development & Delivery Specialist - Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization role participates as a strategic partner, focused on defining, developing and delivering training services to meet the needs of the business in support of POAs, critical market needs, and other product business-related initiatives.  Serving as the subject matter expert, the role is expected to maintain up to date expertise on the therapy, market, and sales approaches associated with the assigned product/TA.

 

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Serve as the primary representative of the Customer Engagement Training organization, acting as a strategic partner to brand leadership to drive Primary Care BU and Brand strategic priorities. 
  • Define both short-term and long-term L&D priorities for sales team for Primary Care (Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization) brands, in collaboration with Primary Care business and brand leadership as well as other key stakeholder 
  • Develop learning journey and training curriculum to address brand needs, coordinating with team members for an integrated approach to content development and mastery. 
  • To ensure content in accordance with standardized core customer engagement, selling and execution constructs, the role will serve as a content development L&D expert for Primary Care (Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization) Brands POAs, brand & business acceleration efforts, and dynamic training needs. 
  • Spearhead the development and execution of training programs in accordance with Primary Care (Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization) Product business strategies, Primary Care BU needs, selling and coaching model constructs, and pre-determined impact and outcome metrics.  
  • Oversee multi-modal learning resources, including print, eLearning modules, leader-led workshops, presentations, pre-launch and launch training sessions, and sustainability programs.  
  • Lead and/or participate in a cross-functional team construct to form and implement Primary Care (Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization) Brand Training Curriculum, including planning, logistics, participant management, and budget oversight.  
  • Conduct engaging training sessions, both virtually and in person, covering product knowledge, disease states, competitive analysis, market dynamics, customer dynamics, sales techniques, and technical expertise 
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues throughout their training journey.  
  • Support the development of training capabilities among team members.  
  • Foster strong relationships with Business Unit Partners, collaborating closely with Leadership, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory, and Legal teams to prioritize L&D needs and manage demands effectively.  
  • Coordinate with other members of Customer Engagement Training to ensure timely and relevant creation, delivery and continuous improvement of training content and outcomes, suitable for implementation in alignment with platform and brand strategies.  
  • Utilize learning technology and manage training courses using Pfizer endorsed platforms such as Microsoft Teams, PLA Platform, and Questionmark 
  • Oversee the certification process for customer-facing colleagues through the administration of Proficiency Evaluations (PEs) and other technologies based on determined approach.  
  • Understanding offerings, organizational capabilities and leverage such knowledge to analyze PEs, market data and other relevant data to identify new training needs and refine existing training curriculum and recommend new trainings to optimize salesforce effectiveness. 
  • Familiarize with and act as an expert for the current selling framework, market and customer content, new disease states and treatments across the current and future product portfolio. 

  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of training, sales, marketing or relevant experience 

  • Ability to align knowledge with business priorities and execute strategies accordingly  

  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership, interacting with stakeholders at varying levels, and working collaboratively across functions to meet share objectives 

  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation and writing skills  

  • Strong track record of success as sales representative, trainer or marketer or related role 

  • Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.  

  • Project Management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects 

  • People leadership experience, direct or cross-functional, including developing people to meet goals, providing constructive feedback, and employee motivation.  

  • Demonstrated creativity skills, with a track record of creating innovative ideas, develop new and better ways of working 

  • Experience with analyzing sales and market related data from multiple sources to draw appropriate conclusions and help guide decision making. 

  • Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with minimal direction 

  • A track record of holding self and others accountable to meet commitments 

  • Familiarity with Pfizer systems and the use of technology in training 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Primary Care (Vaccines, Contract Sales Organization) experience 

  • Primary Care BU Sales and Product experience  

  • Experience delivering training as a field faculty member or similar capacity

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
