Svitzer, a global leader in towage and marine services, is looking for an experienced and driven Area Port Manager to lead and oversee our operations in the Northeast region of Brazil.

The end goal being to provide an efficient, safe and reliable service proposition to our customers, and in accordance with established KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple ports within the region.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality towage services.
• Lead, coach, and develop local port teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with port authorities, clients, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in port operations or maritime logistics, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of maritime regulations and operational standards.
• English proficiency (intermediate to advanced) is preferred.
