Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Service Delivery Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of records management experts and managing high-level client relationships at a federal government site to ensure operational excellence and contract compliance. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our client’s facility in Mitchell, Australian Capital Territory (ACT).


What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Manage and direct all operational activities to meet performance and cost targets while ensuring the delivery of best-in-class service to our government partners.

  • Collaborate for Strategic Growth: Partner closely with executive decision-makers and Account Executive teams to secure contract renewals, manage commercial accuracy, and implement major change projects.

  • Ensure Rigorous Compliance: Oversee adherence to Iron Mountain and Government Department Operating Procedures, while maintaining a safe environment by meeting all local and national Workplace Health and Safety & Environment (WHS&E) requirements.


What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading large teams (20+ members) within a warehouse, logistical, or records management operation.

  • Public Sector Expertise: Strong knowledge of government environments and the ability to apply market intelligence to achieve complex business objectives.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Proven ability in multidimensional problem-solving, executive-level stakeholder management, and advanced negotiations.

  • Operational Risk Management: Demonstrated experience proactively managing safety, quality, and risk management programs to enhance organisational culture.
