Business Overview  

This position will be part of the Corporate Accounting and Controllership team, reporting to the Director, Finance and Corporate Accounting.  The team is responsible for providing corporate accounting and controllership support to the Fidelity Joint Venture structure and entities within this structure.

What You Will Do

  • Support implementation and future development of billing system that supports wealth operations.  Future development could include changes for new products, fee structures, new revenue streams.
  • Implement and drive new processes surrounding wealth revenue and billing operations in areas that include, but are not limited to: monthly review of billings and revenue, reconciliation processes surrounding accuracy of billing and revenue, accurate calculation of third party fee payments.
  • Develop and deliver timely reporting around revenue and client analytics that will aid management in decision making.
  • Engage pro-actively in control design and implementation activities that mitigate risk.
  • Identify and implement solutions which improve efficiency and effectiveness through the elimination, simplification, and automation of processes.
  • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders and management across the organization.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • University/College Degree, with a focus in business (Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or Mathematics/Statistics) or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an analytical role with a focus on finance operations is an asset.
  • Wealth and/or asset management industry experience is an asset.
  • Completion of or working towards a financial/accounting designation (e.g. CPA) and/or CFA or MBA is preferred

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
