What you will do

The MRO Storeroom Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the storeroom(s). Communicate daily to the purchasing team, management, and on-site customer effectively through face to face, phone, or written communication. Will perform inventory counts and reporting. Will be the face of the storeroom and face to all deliveries to the departments within the site. Performs other job-related duties as requested.

How you will do it

  • Responsible for issuing stock parts, materials, supplies, maintenance tools, and maintenance spot buy materials.
  • Responsible for accurately tracking issued materials using a PC in conjunction with the onsite Software System.
  • Responsible for daily spot inventory checks and notifying the supervisor of any part, critical spare, or materials that have reached the minimum on hand level as designated and recording them on the appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for receiving all Maintenance MRO shipments; logging all incoming materials; notifying person material is addressed to; and delivering items. Shelve stock items as soon as possible.
  • Responsible for data entry of received materials into the Software System and stocking in the appropriate location within the stockroom or designated area.
  • Responsible for data entry of all new items into the Software System and designating a stock location within the storerooms or alternate area and shelve items.
  • Maintains assigned area (i.e., storeroom, entranceways, desk area, isles, etc.) in a clean, orderly condition.
  • Responsible for aiding supervisor in completing, annual, bi-annual, monthly, and weekly physical inventory counts.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining updated open Purchase Order (PO) folder.
  • Responsible for manning the tool crib when the plant is in production or there is maintenance scheduled.
  • Maintains a strong work relationship with Plant Personnel to ensure strong communications concerning all parts requirements/concerns.
  • Performs other job-related duties including but not limited to tidying up storerooms & mechanical rooms, building shelving, moving furniture, etc.

Qualifications - What we look for:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift Certification – JCI will provide Certification Training
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a store or warehouse, shipping or logistics.
  • Must be able to work 1st shift 7am-3:30pm and overtime as needed.
  • Self-starter needed that can work with minimum supervision.
  • Pass criminal background check and drug test.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements
