Credit Analyst – Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide

About your role

As a Private Bank Credit Analyst, you will be supporting our Private Bankers to provide exceptional service to their high-net-worth clients through value-add solutions.

Your core duties will involve undertaking financial analysis relating to both consumer and commercial credit as well as assessing the risks/opportunities for new and existing lending submissions. In addition, the assessment of the risks associated with increases in existing client’s consumer and commercial credit.

Your responsibilities

  • Write, negotiate, and manage consumer and commercial credit applications for new and existing clients.

  • Complete quality consumer and commercial credit submissions to ensure the timely delivery of decisions, documentation and funding to the client and the accuracy of information.

  • Apply analytical skills to business problems and effectively communicate outcomes and recommendations.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, client communication and engagement to support credit submission requests.

  • Undertake detailed analysis of client and industry specific information focusing on the key financial drivers of each client to effectively meet their needs.

  • Prepare concise and well-reasoned credit correspondence.

  • Focus on quality, credit management and the minimising of credit and operational losses.

  • Audit and review team files to meet credit assurance standards.

  • Investigate credit policy framework and changes to support credit submission applications.

To be successful as a Private Bank Analyst you will have:

  • Ideally consumer and commercial credit lending experience (Either customer facing/sales or credit/analyst environment)

  • Credit analysis training and demonstrated experience with the ability to support deal structuring.

  • Well-developed MS Excel skills and experience in performing financial analysis/modelling.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline e.g. Banking, Commerce (desirable)
