The Pharmacy Returns & Redistribution team is a pharmacy inventory management team within CVS Supply Chain with a primary focus on our ~9,000 retail pharmacy locations. The team delivers value through a series of reverse logistics and supply chain programs and plays a critical role in future innovative solutions to ensure inventory optimization. The team oversees the programs, development, and financial lines related to Pharmacy Retail Returns, Waste, and Uninsured Loss. The team partners and supports various cross functional partners including Pharmacy Inventory Management, Operations, Merchandising, Long-Term Care, PBM, Specialty, Mail Order, Caremark, IT, Finance, Patient Safety, Health Safety & Environmental, Compliance, 3rd-party Returns and Waste partners, and more.

Job Purpose and Summary:
The Pharmacy Inventory Analytics, Manager role is a hybrid role that blends advanced data analysis with leadership in program management to support CVS Health’s pharmacy inventory supply chain. This role is designed for career professionals with ~5+ years of experience with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex business problems through data.
This position sits within the Project Delivery pillar of the Pharmacy Returns and Redistribution team, which is responsible for driving innovation, piloting new solutions, and scaling successful programs across the enterprise.
As a Manager, you will focus on uncovering trends, insights, and opportunities within large financial and operational datasets related to pharmacy reverse logistics including Waste, Returns, and Uninsured Loss. Your work will directly support enterprise initiatives by identifying actionable insights that improve program performance and inventory optimization across CVS’s ~9,000 retail pharmacy locations.
You will leverage a suite of modern analytics tools like Excel, Snowflake, SQL, ThoughtSpot, Power BI, and more, to extract, manipulate, and visualize data. Your findings will inform and create strategic decisions, support and lead pilot and delivery initiatives, and be shared with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across pharmacy inventory programs.
In addition to analytics, this role includes program management responsibilities that require previous supply chain management skills and knowledge. You will create reporting structures, build Excel-based tools, support operational workflows, and contribute to problem-solving efforts that connect data insights with real-world execution. A willingness to comprehend and challenge CVS’s supply chain network and stakeholder landscape will be essential.
This position is designed for mid-level professionals who are ready to expand beyond individual contribution into foundational leadership, blending hands-on analytics with program ownership and cross-functional influence. In this position, you will operate with increasing autonomy, guiding initiatives, mentoring peers, and shaping strategic decisions that impact CVS Health’s pharmacy inventory operations at scale.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
