The opportunity

As Head of Business Development, you will lead strategic growth across our High Voltage products and beyond, driving scalable business models that support global energy needs. Your role will be pivotal in shaping go-to-market strategies, forging key partnerships, and delivering impactful solutions that enhance efficiency and conserve resources in a dynamic and fast-growing segment.

How you´ll make an impact

  • Define the BU strategy for Segments, Channels and Major Global Accounts, including the value proposition, market positioning and go-to-market.
  • Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships.
  • Promotion campaigns in collaboration with Portfolio Management and Marketing.
  • Work with (Group Account Managers); achieve GAM BU orders KPIs and support CMD/LSMs to drive KPIs and manage performance of SAMs (Strategic Account Managers).
  • Achieve orders growth for the selected segments, i.e. Renewables, Data Centers, Industries, by driving pipeline growth and supporting the win of target opportunities.
  • Support senior level relationships in the segments, primarily at the global accounts. Form, nurture, and manage the industry network of internal stakeholders.

Your background

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related areas
  • Over 20 years of experience in a relevant field is expected
  • Strong knowledge of the Energy value chain (Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Energy intense sectors e.g. Data Centers, Process Industries)
  • Good understanding of High Voltage products (e.g. Gas Insulated Switchgear) and solutions
  • Proactive Leadership, risk management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across global teams
  • Excellent English language skills, other languages are a plus
