Position Requirements
This role is key on the team in executing tasks in the hospital contract revenue cycle and works closely with Client Services, Patient Revenue Accounting, and FP&A. The individual should be well versed in accounting principles and the full revenue cycle (contract to cash) end-to-end. The role touches various tasks related to billing, revenue recognition, GL account reconciliations and contract site performance reconciliations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the proper reconciliation of customer accounts, specifically related to customer site profitability and billing in accordance with Subsidy Hospital Customer contracts
Maintain customer contracts summarizing key financial aspects and related billing data
Ensure journal entries related to contract revenue for the month end close are prepared timely and accurately, and with proper supporting documentation
Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of AR balance sheet account reconciliations
Partner with Director and Finance Managers in addressing requests from regional leaders regarding customer contract financial reconciliations
Support Director in complying with revenue recognition guidelines in accordance with GAAP
Supporting Director in preparation of bad debt reserve calculations in partnership with General Accounting
Help Drive continuous business process improvement and automation.
Support the annual financial statement audit process
Other projects as needs arise
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years of experience as an accounting professional
• Bachelor's degree - Accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, in particular revenue recognition
• Advanced Excel skills
• Able to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced, hybrid-remote environment
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• SAP, Oracle, Workday (ERP system) experience
• Healthcare industry experience
• Medium sized corporate experience
• Order To Cash experience or exposure
Total Rewards:
Salary: $69,600- 91,350 annually
