The Senior Client Service Specialist will manage small business renewal accounts from start to finish, in addition to working closely with new business advisors. The role requires analyzing client data, evaluating needs, and helping create effective risk management solutions designed to meet clients' financial goals. This includes renewal broking/quoting, client retention and communication, as well as the operational tasks required to complete binding and policy management. The Sr. CSS on the CSB (Cover Small Business) team will be responsible for all broking, AE, and ops tasks for accounts under $3k in revenue. The goal is to satisfy the needs of these smaller clients and retain them year over year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exclusive POC for all client renewal processes
- Facilitating the policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting process on renewals
- Delivering accurate quotes that meet or exceed client requests
- Developing relationships with various insurance carriers
- Acting as the liaison between current clients and the Founder Shield team
- Consulting clients on the right insurance coverage as they grow and scale their companies
- Serving as a client advocate in driving Founder Shield products and services
- Providing exceptional customer service; this includes answering client inquiries and questions in a timely manner, handling policy changes/endorsements, issuing certificates of insurance
- Updating and improving upon internal information management systems
- Compiling and generating all relevant paperwork to bind client insurance policies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- An insurance broker’s license is a plus!
- Interest in insurance and loves customer service
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, analytical, ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience preferred
- Current P&C license or willingness and ability to obtain all required licenses within 6 months (at company’s expense)
