Dental Services at Mercy Hospital is only one of two dental departments in the entire Cleveland Clinic enterprise. Under the dentist's supervision, the Dental Assistant will perform medical and administrative skills to support patients and dental caregivers. This is a fast-paced environment with back-to-back schedules, requiring a caregiver with a strong work ethic and flexibility.
This role offers a three-tier dental assistant model that was created for Dental Assistants’ skill level. Reaching level three will allow you to be a leadership-level assistant, which can then lead to a supervisor role down the line.
This is a full-time role. A caregiver in this position will work Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:00pm on 4- 9hr shifts.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ambulate patients for x rays and to dental chair.
Dexterity sufficient to operate CRT/PC and other office equipment.
Ability to work while standing the majority of work day.
Requires frequent data entry, lifting patients, pushing/pulling over 75 pounds, sitting, squatting, standing and walking.
Must possess manual dexterity to pass instrumentation, hand mix impression material and stone / plaster, use applicator gun to express impression gun, trimming casts as well as operate PC.

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
