Do you want to hike, ski or explore the Colorado mountains?  Do you want to explore fine arts and dining in the city?  Are you looking for a good work-life balance?  Look no further! At Pinon Family Practice we pride ourselves in maintaining that work-life balance while at the same time excelling as a top performing Family Medicine clinic in the Denver-Metro area!

Pinon Family Practice is a privately-owned and operated, clinically integrated and progressive Family Medicine clinic.   Our clinical team is a collaborative group of 8 providers; 2 MD partner’s and 6 PA's.  Pinon is well established within the SW Littleton community providing care to families for over 20 years.  Located just at the base of the beautiful foothills, Littleton is a suburb of Denver, just about 30 mins SW.

Our practice is a member of the independent practice association (IPA), PHPprime. PHPprime provides wrap-around services to help make our practice successful, including care coordination, practice transformation coaching, risk adjustment coding education, population health management, data and analytics, specialist network management, and large group contracting.

We have an opening for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with some of the highlighted benefits:

  • Partner-track (optional)
  • 4 day work-week, no Saturday’s
  • Office closed for lunch
  • 3 weeks paid time off, plus all major holidays off
  • Outpatient office only, no hospital coverage/rounds
  • 1 week of call every 7th week
  • Collaborative team, not corporate owned
  • Licensing, malpractice, CME paid

The ideal candidate will treat both acute and chronic medical problems, provide wellness/preventative exams and education, refer patients to appropriate specialties/imaging, work closely with specialists to decrease gaps in care, meeting with vendors to hear the latest and greatest in medications, specialists, community resources and then apply that to your practice and patients. We see all ages in our very busy, growing practice. The ideal candidate will not only have excellent clinical skills, but be fun, interactive, professional, collaborative and have the ability to connect and partner with each patient and family regardless of their demographic.  We hold Medicare and Commercial contracts only and do not participate in Medicaid or any other indigent programs at this time.

Our provider teams are working very diligently in MACRA/MIPS and Clinical Quality Measure performance.  We are clinically integrated and focused on patient-centered, whole person care.  We are making many of the necessary changes for Primary Care and raising the benchmark standards for patient care, quality and cost.

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $115.000
