Our Newest Opportunity: 

This role supports the Retirement Service and Sales team with various aspects. Key responsibilities involve collaborating with senior colleagues, analyzing plan fees, tracking deadlines, and assisting with client communications. Additionally, this position supports new business initiatives, maintains accurate records, and contributes to the overall success of the Retirement Plan team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):

  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to prepare and develop basic plan review meeting materials to support client interaction and communications
  • Schedule and support follow-up on client meetings under supervision to help ensure effective communication and timely completion of action items.
  • Support 401(k) plan fee analysis and benchmarking to optimize plan performance.
  • Support tasks related to recordkeeper RFPs under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Create and update custom plan design benchmarking using industry surveys and/or public filings.
  • Track key dates and events for clients and advisors, including fund or fee change effective dates, required participant notices, annual compliance test results, 5500 filings, and other administrative/compliance deadlines, with guidance from the team.
  • Assist with plan document gathering and plan amendments.
  • Enter and maintain Salesforce data related to plan design, contacts, and agreements, with oversight from the team.
  • Draft and maintain template plan governance documents to support 401(k) Committee oversight.
  • Generate and/or update advisory agreements under the guidance of senior associates.
  • Support new business and lost business processes by assisting with data collection and entry.
  • Provide general support to advisors and clients by resolving basic administrative issues and directing complex inquiries to senior team members.
  • Conduct research and develop basic communication materials to promote participant education initiatives, collaborating with the team.
  • Coordinate internal resources to schedule and promote group education and/or one-on-one sessions.
  • Support various tasks associated with adding in-house solutions and/or new plan services under the guidance of team members.
  • Support clients regarding fiduciary and financial academy opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop, document, and improve processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, due dates, and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic and proactive approach to exceed client expectations and drive client satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce is helpful, but not required.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments and embraces change as an opportunity for growth.
  • Self-motivated and seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and skills, contributing to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive client information and adhering to security requirements and best practices.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred), or relevant work experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in operations or a similar role preferred.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
