About the Role

Consultant, Cloud Operations will provide day to day support to all AIA business units using AIA’s Azure public cloud platform including but not limited to incident-, change-, request- and problem management. This role focuses on leveraging azure services administration tasks and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Experience:

• 5+ years relevant experience in Cloud Engineering / Support role
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DB2, including administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.Excellent understanding and proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, workload migration and operational support in a multi-site enterprise environment
• Relevant professional certifications (Azure, AWS, ITIL etc)
• Practical experience of supporting Enterprise Public Cloud Services and automation
• Experience within a decentralized organization, preferably within the Group unit.
• Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices.
• Experience in top tier multinational corporation will be an advantage.
• Liaise with service providers to ensure that operational processes (backup, patching, provisioning, monitoring) for service follow-up and incident management.
• Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is a plus.

Comprehensive skills in one of following areas:

• Middleware: IIS / Websphere / Apache / Tomcat

• Scripting and containers: Powershell, Azure cmd line, YAML, Containers / AKS, etc.
