We’re currently looking for a Tableau Consultant to join our team.

The individual will have specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in Tableau visualization, capabilities and functionality. They interpret internal or external business issues and recommends best practices to improve products or services. They solve complex problems; taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. They work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations, receiving minimal guidance and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

• Serves as a Tableau enterprise-wide or cross-functional analytics and operational subject matter expert, understanding business requirements and planning solutions to address data needs
• Provide accurate analysis, troubleshooting and testing of Tableau technical issues
• Ensure the highest level of communication to meet Tableau Service level Agreement (SLA) by providing regular updates with respect to progress of each incident, and quickly providing high quality, complete, and timely solutions in a professional manner while demonstrating the highest level of customer service
• Participates in implementing Tableau Standards and Best Practices for the service/service offerings
• Ability to estimate and prioritize Tableau work in Agile environment using SCRUM techniques  
• Deliver internal training on Tableau capabilities and functionality
• Periodic Tableau presentation to Sr. Mgr. within region. 

Qualifications:

Years of Experience:

• 4+ years overall IS/IT experience 
• 4+ years of experience hands on with Tableau
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL
• 3+ years of experience working with data warehouse

Academic Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in IS or related.
• Advanced technical certifications/diploma and/or degree preferred. 

Certifications:

• Tableau certification preferred

Skills:  

• Experience using a variety of tools and technologies for project, process, and/or application service support as detailed in the job description. 
• Expert skills in using analytic tools including forecasting, predicting trends and gaining insights using past and current data
• Expert skills in analytical thinking
• In-depth knowledge and a sound understanding of SQL, Business Intelligence, and data analytics
• Advanced skills in data visualization and presenting data to diverse audiences
• Sound knowledge and experience in Excel, PL/SQL, ETL, and Tableau platform
• Technical knowledge of Tableau products and versions including Tableau Server, Tableau Public, Tableau Online, and Tableau Desktop
• Intermediate knowledge of data migration, Tableau integration, and extensions
• Advanced customer focus skills
• Advanced skills in problem solving
• Advanced oral and written and verbal communication skills
