The Clinical New Business Sales Lead Director will provide strategic oversight of the sales process for clinical sales within the Payor Solutions portfolio of services. This role will have the ability to work with internal Aetna and Caremark account teams to help increase clinical sales within their books of business while actively soliciting new business with external prospects. The Lead Director will apply leadership skills, market knowledge, and sales expertise to motivate and guide internal colleagues that they work with.

This individual will have an annual sales target of 10 mil in clinical revenue with targets provided by product line.  They will have at least 5 years of comparable sales experience and be committed to owning the sales process through contract execution while frequently working with the marketing team to help craft our message. They will meet with the senior leadership monthly to report out on their individual territory strategy and have an active voice to help advance our business forward. 


The ideal candidate will have.

  • 5+ years cumulative experience managing a large complex sales within the PBM, health plan, or related healthcare field with a focus on new business development and a proven track record of success
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
  • Experience with Clinical products and services and a strong network of consultants you’ve worked with
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to interact and work with senior management on specific prospects.
  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Must be able to travel - 30%


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$105,000.00 - $231,132.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
