The Basics:

We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead Tanium’s APJ recruitment team. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and have direct responsibility for the success of our APJ recruiting efforts. We’re looking for someone who will exemplify strong leadership but also contribute to the recruiting process by taking on requisitions, delivering great candidate experiences, possess great communication skills, and can shift gears at a moment’s notice This will be a player and coach role In this role, the Director of Talent Acquisition will enjoy the challenge of building and developing a great organization of talented individuals while fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders. 

What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for managing and facilitating the entire recruiting process 
  • Develop and execute on a sourcing strategy 
  • Take a data-driven approach to develop goals, validate your activities and to measure success, as well as those of your direct reports 
  • Manage a team of recruiters and a recruiting coordinator 
  • Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires 
  • Be an advocate for the candidate and deliver a world-class candidate experience 
  • Tracking recruiting activities in our ATS and providing candidate status in a weekly report 
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, the talent acquisition team, and our business partners 
  • Successfully evaluate candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques and providing thorough scorecards 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Education 
    • BS/BA or equivalent experience required 
  • Experience 
    • 7+ years of recruiting experience or similar experience required 
    • 5+ years of management experience preferred 
    • Strong oral and written communication skills in English required 
    • Experience with Office Suite – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred 
    • Superb customer focus, attention to detail and organizational skills preferred 
    • Experience working with Greenhouse preferred 
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment preferred
